Q: HOW CAN I DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL HIDE MY IP?

After you download Hide My IP from this link, follow the installer instructions.  Then run Hide My IP and click the "Hide My IP" button to start hiding your IP address. It's that simple!

Q: HOW DOES HIDE MY IP WORK?

Hide My IP downloads a list of secure private anonymous proxy IP addresses from privatly managed IP locations around the world. As the user, you can select which location you would like to appear to be from.  Hide My IP must be running for your IP to be hidden.  If you turn off Hide My IP, or close our application, your IP settings will revert to normal, exposting your real IP address.

Q: CAN I INSTALL HIDE MY IP ON MULTIPLE COMPUTERS?

We currently allow only one license key per computer.  However, you can install Hide My IP on another computer.  Once you activate Hide My IP with the same license as the original computer, Hide My IP will de-activate on the original computer and continue to work on the new computer you installed it on.  We offer quantity discounts for 2 license keys or more on our Packages Page.

Q: DO I GET FREE SOFTWARE UPDATES?

Yes, your purchase will include unlimited updates to the same major version of Hide My IP, example 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, etc..  If you would like to buy the next major version, there will be a small upgrade fee.

Q: Does Hide my ip work for mac os x?

Yes, we have a Mac-Compatible version of Hide My IP for Intel based Macs OS X 10.5 and higher.
